Vernon grew up and has lived in English Point, Labrador most of his life. He is a passionate birder and nature enthusiast who has been photographing and exploring Labrador for many years, documenting the latest rarity and common birds alike. Along the journey, he has added one new Canadian species and one provincial species, in addition to at least 18 Labrador County species.
